Jackie is the Associate Producer of the National Black Theatre, in Harlem. She is a newcomer to the field of film. She began studying video as an undergraduate student at City College at the Center for Worker Education (CWE) in 2000. She produced and directed her first documentary called Imajin in collaboration with MNN Studios and CWE. She also received a certificate of merit from MNN studios.

She received her Master of Fine Arts in Media Arts Production from the City College of New York in June 2004.
